Intro

As a Planning and fulfilment Manager, you will coordinate with various departments, and implement strategies to optimize production planning, order fulfillment, warehouse operations, and logistics. You will develop and maintain production schedules based on sales needs and plans. You will work closely with production managers, procurement teams, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of products while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency. You will oversee the internal fulfillment process.

What would I be doing?

• Collaborate with the sales team, production, procurement, and other relevant teams/individuals to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the production process.
• Implement and optimize systems for order tracking, processing, and fulfillment.
• Ensuring there is sufficient inventory in internal and external warehouses to meet customer orders, overseeing inventory levels, and managing inventory storage.
• Address any issues that may impact production timelines and work proactively to find solutions.
• Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory levels.
• Continuously monitor and adjust schedules to meet changing demands, production constraints, and customer requirements.
• Ensuring that products are manufactured, packed, and shipped in accordance with production schedules.
• Work closely with logistics partners to optimize transportation routes, reduce delivery times, and minimize shipping costs.
• Utilize technology solutions, such as warehouse management systems (WMS) and order management systems (OMS), to streamline fulfillment processes and improve visibility.
• Continually assessing and improving fulfillment processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.

What do I need?

• Experience in planning and/or fulfillment management or a similar role within a production company
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with any production planning software, warehouse management systems and/or order management systems.
• Good understanding of logistics and transportation processes.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build systems from scratch.

• Experience in food or beverage production.
